Hire A Real Estate Agent

Choosing a real estate agent whom you trust and feel comfortable with can be as challenging as finding your dream home. Given the significant investment you are about to make, it’s crucial to work with an agent who is as committed to your needs as you are. With our experienced team of agents, you can feel confident that we will help you find your dream home and guide you through the entire home buying process.

Prepare your finances

Determine how much you can afford to spend on a home, taking into account your income, expenses, and debts. This includes not only the mortgage payment but also property taxes, moving costs, homeowner’s insurance, and home maintenance costs. Speak with a mortgage specialist about getting a pre-approval.

Start Your Search

Searching for your dream home can be thrilling but also a bit overwhelming. To make the journey smoother, it’s important to narrow down your home criteria early on. Simplifying what you’re looking for helps you concentrate on what truly matters and makes the entire home search more efficient and focused.

Make an Offer

Once you’ve found a property you’re interested in, work with your real estate agent to submit an offer to the seller. Your offer will include the purchase price, possession date, and any other terms and conditions you want to include.

Waive Conditions

You and your agent will work together to formally waive each condition in writing, on or before the agreed condition deadline. Should the deadline pass without a waiver being submitted, the contract will automatically end.

Seal the deal & Move in

Once conditions have been waived, your agent will schedule a final walk-through to ensure all agreed terms have been satisfied, and the home’s condition has not changed. Then, you’ll review and sign closing documents, usually at your lawyer’s office. Lawyers will confirm funds, title transfer, and mortgage terms. Your Real Estate Agent will hand you the keys, and you will be all set to move in!
